"Dear Emily" empowers young girls to create and imagine outside of themselves.

Think of a subscription box, but for young girls who receive regular letters in the mail that continually build out a "story."

The letters are brought to life by their "Dear Emily" doll. She is 16'' inches tall with a soft body and hand painted facial features, giving her a sweet, china doll like demeanor.

Imagine a young girl's anticipation on receiving a series of letters in the mail, addressed to her soft china doll.* She unfolds a wax sealed envelope and reads a sweet, heartfelt letter written from her doll’s far away but faithful friend.

Over the course of six letters, her penpal invites your daughter into discovering life in Victorian England, providing inspiration and impetus for girls to creatively develop the world of their doll.

*Each doll arrives with her first letter addressed to a "dear friend." Young girls have the opportunity to register their doll with her new, given name, and thus all subsequent letters will arrive addressed to "Emily," "Matilda," "Anne," and so forth.
